Thomas Carnegie is a reporter for the Pacific Media Centre and Pacific Scoop.
He completed degrees in law and politics at the University of Otago in 2012 before pursuing a career in journalism.
Thomas is currently studying postgraduate journalism at the Auckland University of Technology, where he has been writing for the student paper Te Waha Nui.
Being born and raised in the South Island, he moved up to Auckland in 2013 after earning entrance to the postgraduate course.
While having an interest in all areas of news, Thomas is particularly interested in politics and the political system.
